Privacy Policy

Profile Doctor lets you upload screenshots of your own dating profile and receive an AI-generated critique. This policy explains what happens to your data. The short version: we do not have accounts, we do not have a database, and we do not keep your screenshots.

What we collect

Screenshots you upload

When you request a diagnosis, your screenshots are received by our server, resized in your own browser before upload, held in memory, and sent to Anthropic for analysis. They are never written to disk, never saved to a database, and never stored after your request finishes. Once the response is returned, the images are gone from our systems.

Your screenshots may contain photographs of you and other people, and text you have written. Please do not upload screenshots containing information you would not want processed, and do not upload anyone else’s profile.

Your IP address

We record your IP address in server memory to enforce usage limits and prevent abuse. It is held for a maximum of 24 hours and is then discarded automatically. It is not written to disk, not linked to your uploads, and not used to identify or profile you.

What we do not collect

We do not use accounts, cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, or any third-party tracking scripts. We do not collect your name, email address, or payment details, and we do not build a profile of you across visits.

Who we share data with

Anthropic. Your screenshots and the accompanying instructions are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate the critique. Anthropic processes this data as our service provider under their own terms and privacy policy. We do not permit your content to be used to train models.

Our hosting provider. Our host processes requests on our behalf and may log standard technical information such as IP addresses and request times.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else.

Share cards

If you choose to create a share card, the score and one line of your roast are placed in the image address and the resulting image is cached publicly so it loads quickly. Anyone with that exact address could view that image. The card is only created when you tap share, it never contains your photographs, and nothing is posted anywhere unless you post it yourself.

How long we keep things

Screenshots: not retained. Discarded as soon as your request completes.
Generated roasts: not retained. They exist only in your browser.
IP addresses: up to 24 hours in memory, for rate limiting only.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to processing, or to complain to a data protection authority. In practice we hold almost nothing: we have no account for you, no stored images, and no record connecting you to a past request. Children

Profile Doctor is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly process data from children. If you believe a child has used this service, contact us at hello@getprofiledoctor.com.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use Profile Doctor after an update means you accept the revised policy.
